How is it possible to clean using only steam?

Steam cleans through three “physical” characteristics: water, temperature and pressure that, together, allow you to eliminate grease and dirt from every corner of your home.

WATER: steam is made up of water molecules which bind to dirt molecules on contact and start to “soften them”.

TEMPERATURE: the steam is delivered at such a temperature so as to be able to separate and dissolve the most stubborn dirt and grease and destroy any bacteria at the same time.

PRESSURE: the pressure definitely “detaches” dirt from the surfaces. You’ll merely have to collect it with a cloth or vacuum it.

Does Polti steam disinfect?

Yes, Polti Vaporetto products that are used with the Vaporflexi brush are SDDs - Steam Disinfection Devices in accordance with the AFNOR NF T72-110 - March 2019 standard, certifying that they have been tested for medical use and demonstrate virucidal, bactericidal, sporicidal, fungicidal and levurocidal effects and also work on mould.

Included accessories

Vaporflexi brush

Brush to clean floors, carpets, and all large surfaces. Must be used by attaching the provided cloth and allows for both hard and delicate floors to be cleaned.

Carpet and rug accessory frame

The carpet and rug accessory attached to the brush with the cloth fitted allows for upholstery to be refreshed quickly and easily.

Window-cleaning accessory

The window-cleaning accessory for manual use makes it possible to remove the dirt previously dissolved with steam.

Small brush

This small brush is designed for cleaning smaller surfaces. It can be used with the sockette provided. It is recommended for: upholstery fabrics, velvet and leather (from a distance), car interiors, windscreens, small glass surfaces, tiles, cabinet doors, doors and other small surfaces.

Steam concentrator + Brush

The steam concentrator is useful for targeted cleaning jobs. It can be used together with brushes with nylon bristles to add abrasive power to the natural strength of steam.

Floor cloths

2 microfibre cloths are provided, with special inserts to collect the dirt dissolved by the steam. For all types of flooring.

Sponge sockette

One sockette is provided to collect the dirt that is dissolved during steam cleaning. Used with the small brush.

Kalstop anti-limescale product

2 vials of Kalstop are provided, a special anti-limescale product for steam-generating products. Made from plants, it is safe for humans, easily biodegradable and harmless to the environment. Used regularly it prevents the formation of limescale and improves steam delivery, keeping your appliance working perfectly for longer.

Round red brush with nylon bristles

Useful for removing encrusted dirt, adding the abrasive action of the bristles to the effectiveness of steam. Also suitable for delicate surfaces. The red colour allows for differentiation between the rooms treated, bathroom or kitchen for example.
