The innovative No Calc Long-life technology found on the high-pressure boiler on the Polti La Vaporella prevents the negative effects of limescale for a longer product life cycle without the need for maintenance. The special inner structure – with limescale capturing device and mesh filter – traps even the finest limescale particles and provides long-lasting protection for the boiler's active components. In doing so, boiler maintenance and cleaning is no longer required. What’s more, the special aluminium alloy neutralises the effects of impurities present in tap water.
You can iron any kind of fabric with the Universal setting: from denim to wool, linen and silk without having to change the pressure and temperature, thereby saving time and effort.
The steam pulse function delivers steam automatically at regular intervals without you having to continually press the steam button, thereby reducing repetitive stress on your fingers and wrists. To activate it, you just have to double click on the iron button and then press it again once to disable it. It is excellent for ironing vertically.
The turbo function will last for a maximum of 10 minutes, after which the La Vaporella will automatically switch over to the UNIVERSAL setting (mods. XT100C, XM80R, XM80C, XM82C, XT110, and XT90C) or the ECO setting (mod. XB60C). To reactivate it, just turn the dial to the TURBO setting again.
Thanks to the innovative soleplate featuring 360° Fluid Curve technology, the powerful, concentrated steam on the tip of the Polti La Vaporella is distributed evenly via the grooves over the entire surface of the soleplate, creating a “cushion” of steam that lifts it slightly to improve its glide over the fabrics being ironed.
Yes, you can iron your delicate garments without steam by selecting the SILK setting on the appliance. For the XB60C and XB50C models, please also remember to turn the dial on the iron to the lowest temperature or according to the fabric to be ironed. Warning! Before ironing without steam, wait for the LED on the iron handle to turn a steady blue.
