What is a HEPA filter?

A High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filter is made up of a lightweight frame that supports the microfibre filter, which is pleated to provide a large filtering surface.

Dust particles, mites and pollen suspended in the air that pass through the filter are caught and filtered out to ensure they don’t go back into the room. Due to their high efficiency, HEPA or EPA filters fall under the “absolute filter” category. They can filter out between 85% and 99.995% of particles, depending on what type they are.
