Where do bedbugs nest?

Bedbugs spend most of their time hiding in extremely narrow places, such as cracks, folds of fabric, seams, small tears in pillows, mattresses, netting, electrical sockets, paintings, bedside tables, wall-mounted lamps, curtains, skirting boards, door and window frames, sofas and armchairs. They prefer to remain close to the host, and it is only when the infestation has taken over the entire room that the insects may hide everywhere, located concentrically from where the host is sleeping.
